The SPARC Nitrogen flow indicator is a crucial tool for providing extremely low pressure, precision gas flow control during nitrogen purging applications, particularly in the brazing of copper tubing in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This nitrogen flow is essential to displace the oxygen inside the tubing during the brazing process, preventing internal oxidation and the resulting scale build-up that can cause blockage in the TXV and the overall system, leading to premature failure.

SPARC's Nitrogen flow indicator utilizes a float ball to visually confirm that the nitrogen is flowing, which is essential during the brazing of copper tubing in HVAC systems. During this process, a technician can first flush the copper lines at 25-35 CFH and then reduce the flow to 3-4 CFH, a process that greatly aids in conserving and saving nitrogen. If the ball does not rise in the tube, it indicates a lack of nitrogen flow and only static pressure, meaning the oxygen is not being displaced.

The maximum inlet pressure for this product is 50 PSI, and it must connect to a nitrogen regulator with a 1/4" male flare outlet connection (SPARC SP00021 – sold separately) to control the nitrogen gas pressure. It is compatible with UNIWELD RHP400, RHP500, RHP750, and similar style regulators as well. SPARC's nitrogen flow indicator has a 0-75CFH flow output at 50 PSI.

The SPARC Nitrogen Flow indicator features a 1/4" SAE female flare inlet connection and a 1/4" SAE male flare outlet connection. Due to SPARC's ability to provide extremely low flow with high precision gas control, this nitrogen flow indicator is extremely safe to use. Additionally, an over-pressure safety relief rupture disk has been installed in the product to keep all customers safe.

This product is ideal for providing high precision gas control even at low flow rates for nitrogen purging applications, and it measures 0-75CFH precision flow output at 50psi input pressure.
